November 7 will see the release of the movies, Bala and the following day, November 8 will see Ujda Chaman hit screens, both of which are based on a similar central idea that is premature balding!
Bala stars Ayushmann Khurrana, who’s riding heavy after consecutive victories like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Andhadhun, Badhaai ho, Article 15, Dream Girl. Also featuring Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar, Bala is directed by Amar Kaushik, who gave the unexpected blockbuster a year ago, the horror-comedy Stree movie. Producer Dinesh Vijan reportedly confirmed that ‘Stree 2’ is already in the works. Dinesh Vijan reportedly confirmed that the sequel will pick up from where ‘Stree’ ended.
The teaser of the film was released in August and was valued. With Ayushmann in the lead role, the movie will undoubtedly have a huge buzz, particularly once the trailer is out.
This Dinesh Vijan-produced film was initially scheduled to release on November 22. It was then preponed by a week, on November 15. And now the creators have further advanced the release by one more week. The choice was taken after Marjaavaan, which was to discharge on November 8, was delayed by a week.
This massy flick is a T-Series and Emmay Entertainment production, directed by Milap Zaveri and starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria.
Meanwhile, Ujda Chaman too is scheduled to release on November 8. It is the remake of an acclaimed Kannada film Ondu Motteya Kathe and stars Sunny Singh in the lead role and Maanvi Gagroo, Saurabh Shukla, Atul Kumar, Grusha Kapoor, Gagan Arora, Karishma Sharma, Abhilash Chaudhary in supporting roles. It is produced by Abhishek Pathak and Kumar Mangat and also marks the directorial debut of the previous.
The trailer was released at some point back and was loved for its thought and humor. Also, as the name suggests, Ujda Chaman is about a man battling with his hair loss. Interestingly, Bala too handles a similar issue, and also stresses that inner beauty is more important than outer beauty.
Earlier, the situation was perfect as Bala was to release a week after Ujda Chaman. But now with both the movies scheduled to release around the same day, it is not yet clear if both of the film bows out of the clash or do both these movies with the same premise clash at the box office.
